Online class

Will NNWP ever consider doing online classes? I use the website all through the year, and I would love to take some of the workshops... but I don't see a trip to Nevada in my future. :( Any hope of some of the workshops being offered through the internet?

Corbett, I taught in Northern Nevada for many years. Now I teach online nearly full time. In fact I've been teaching one of the few online classes dedicated to the Writing Process and the 6-Traits since the turn of the century. 8-)

I also train online instructors and am right on top of the latest methods and software. I'd be happy to volunteer from advice as the NNWP and Writing fix move toward online work. (I reference the site in all of my classes.)

We started the WritingFix website and its companion inservice classes for our Northern Nevada teachers, and the world started checking in and using the website and classes' materials. There's only a small number of us, and we have such a huge demand from just our area, that we'd like to offer our classes outside of Nevada, but our capacity just isn't there yet. I do have a few instructors exploring different on-line environments. So stay tuned!
