Last year I took a picture a day for my students to write their journal entries. It was such fun, and it still is as we look back at those pictures and what we remember of our old friends of sixth grade.

I have to admit I have never been a blogger or discussion person so I hope I am doing this right....???

As for the posting of photographs, should my class write and post about the same picture or should they choose a photo they find anywhere that inspires them to write?

I think both ideas are great. If you create a kidbog at kidbog.com, you could post the photos for kids to respond to and react to their classmates writing. Students could also choose photos to bring in or perhaps to upload to the blog, too.
