Writing Lesson of the Month Network
...sharing thoughtful, mentor text-inspired lessons your students will love!
At WritingFix's Compare and Contrast Resource Homepage, we feature almost two dozen complete lessons from teachers who have participated in our compare and contrast workshops and inservice courses.
If you're inspired by our examples to write-up an original lesson idea from your classroom that uses our lesson template or thoroughly explains your ideas using an original format, we want you to share it here! We're looking for new lessons that we can post over at the WritingFix website.
Because a complete lesson can be time-consuming to create, we will send you not just one but any TWO of the NNWP Print Guides if we select your lesson and transfer it over to the WritingFix site.
We only post lessons at WritingFix that come with the following elements: 1) linked to a mentorr text, 2) comes with a graphic organizer, 3) provides tools for students to create more than just a rough draft, and 4) student samples and/or a teacher model of the writing the lesson yields.
To post your lesson, you can paste it into the "Reply to This" box below, or you can attach it as a single file or as several files. If you do not see the "Reply to This" box below this post, it is because you are not yet a member of this exchange group. To become a member, simply look for the "+Join Deeper with Blooms" link in the upper right portion of this screen. Click on that and you'll be able to post!
Thanks for sharing! This is a great opportunity to become a genuine part of the WritingFix website!
