Dear Bounty Hunters,

Will you please stop killing us tigers? You're cruel, vicious, ungrateful, and stupid. Can you see what beauty we have? The right to walk this earth? We're here for a purpose you know. You killed my only child, and just the other day, you tried to kill me! Can't you see it's wrong to hunt tigers? We're all children of Mother Nature. Do you want to kill your own brothers and sisters? How about I trade the location of a pack of wildebeasts for my species life? They live by the waterhole in the middle of the jungle. Please take this under consideration.

A woed tiger,
Taylor

Dear Zia, the zoo keeper.

Thank you very much for feeding me fish and pampering me since I was brought to the zoo.  Lately though I am starting to realize that my cold penguin pool is starting to become a little boring.  All we do is swim and waddle around!  I believe that we penguins should get a twisty slide that leads to our pool.  It would be a great upgrade to our home.

First off, I am only a kid and I love to have fun.  Our plain, dull, and regular pool is so boring I could die!  You just swim around in our rectangular pool and play with a stick!  Our pool needs more things to do.  I speak for all the penguins when I say we love to have fun!

Next, all of us penguins love attention.  We want tourists to see our slide and say “WOW”!  Right now there is nothing in our pool; people are going to walk past us!  I want to live in a habitat that is comfy and fun to play in.  I should be a place where I can hang out and relax.  Right now it’s just a concrete pool!

Most importantly, I want a fun filled life.  When I am old, I want to look back and remember how fantastic my life was.  I want to make many memories with friends and family that will always make me smile.  I know that you may be concerned about us but we will always have adult penguin supervision while on the slide and we won’t fool around while on the slide.  It will be safe and super fun.

In conclusion, I believe our habitat should have a twisty slide.  It would be fun, we would get recognized and we will make many memories.  Thank you for listening to my ideas.  I hope to hear back from you.

Your waddling friend,

Penny the Penguin (Isabella Z.)

P.S. Make sure the slide is super-fast and extra twisty! Thanks!

Dear Fred,

Thank you for always being kind to me and allowing me to live in the woods in your backyard. One day I was building a dam and cutting wood with my teeth. All of a sudden, a group of deer and squirrels scampered past me. They looked straight at me and burst out laughing. I’m positive they were giggling about my crooked teeth. Please buy braces to straighten out my teeth.

First of all, I look so boring with my light brown fur and golden teeth. I look exactly like every other beaver in the woods. Braces would make my appearance look more unique. They are colorful and would give me a whole new look. Also, people and animals would admire my appearance from now on. You could even purchase an interesting design on them to add a little more spice. Therefore, braces would be a great idea for me!

In addition, my teeth are all crooked and gross. Every time an animal passes by me, they chuckle and this lowers my self-esteem. Braces will position my teeth the correct way. As a result, I’ll look beautiful and appealing to all of the animals in the woods. After the process with the braces, I will be admired by others. Finally, someone will take me seriously for once. Please try your best to purchase braces for me!

Most importantly, my teeth ache very often. This is because all of the twigs and grass build up in the gaps of my teeth. Braces would close these gaps up and leave my mouth spotless. I don’t even want to eat any more because of these constant headaches. Do you want me to be in severe pain that will cause me to die? You could even have a fundraiser to raise money for my braces. Help me!!!

Please buy me braces for my teeth. I need braces to make my appearance more unique, so my teeth won’t hurt, and to straighten my teeth. Thank you for listening and please make the right decision.

Yours truly,

Rachel the beaver

P.S. I will stop chewing on your deck if you do me this one favor!
