My Imaginary Friend by Helena (3rd grade)
I just got back from school and I was doing my homework. All of a sudden my imaginary friend Roisy walked into my house and said happy cooking day! "What is that?" I asked. Well if I must tell you again it is the day you and I cook dinner. Well let`s get started; there is no time to lose. So we both got out random ingredients, but instead of making dinner we decided to paint the walls with all the food. We called it food masterpiece. We were so proud of ourselves. Roisy was so proud she almost cried. But when my mom came home, and she saw our masterpiece, she screamed like crazy. What is the meaning of this? Roisy and I made a food masterpiece. You are grounded Missy, for three weeks. Also, Roisy is not real. Roisy got all sad and cried then she ran out the door. I never saw Roisy again...until the next cooking day.

McKayla (4th grade)

When I woke up from a sleep that held me in bed all night, I found my imaginary friend Grimble waiting for me in the kitchen. My parents weren’t up yet, so Grimble suggested that we make coffee for my parents to show how much we appreciate them.

“What a great idea. Let’s do it,” I exclaimed. And so we did.

I got the coffee beans while Grimble poured the water into the coffee maker. The slimy green like skin covering his body filled with glee. We had finished making the coffee.

As soon as I poured the cups of coffee, I heard a beg

“Oh can I have a sip of that mouthwatering coffee?” Grimble asked.

“No, the coffee will make you too hyper and I can’t let that happen. You’ll wake up my parents.” I said.

“I promise I’ll control myself. Please! Please! Please!” said the creature as tall as my knee.

“Fine! But only a small sip.”

Grimble started to shake. Oh no! I thought. What have I done? He flew around bouncing off the walls and even better, my parents were getting up. Grimble turned invisible. My parents flipped on their back as Grimble knocked them over. I was told to clean up the mess and also scolded. I was grounded for a month and Grimble left because he was too much trouble.

Dash is Awesome by Tanner (3rd grade)

I woke up and something was tickling my head. I said, "Stop Jon!". Jon is my really annoying brother. For some reason he always tickles me in the morning. So I swiped my hand at him. Then I felt this gooey stuff on my hand. I looked up and I saw an orange covered person the size of a Crayola crayon.

"Who are you?" I asked him.

"I am Dash, the fastest person on Earth because I have jet propulsion."

"Wooowww! I'll race you to the kitchen. Ready. Set. Go!"

Hey, where did Dash go? "I'm down here.” said Dash.

"Oh, I'm coming.", I said. So, I met him downstairs and Dash was sitting in a chair at the kitchen table. I was about to sit on him but then he yelled, "Stop!”.

I said, "Where are you?”.

He said, "I am down here.".

"Phew", I said, "I almost squished you.".

"I know,” said Dash.

Two minutes later....

We started breakfast. We were making waffles with whipped cream. ‘Dash, you go to the market and get all the ingredients. I will set up the pans and stuff."

"I'm baaack", Dash said.

"Okay, mix the ingredients in a bowl. Put the waffle mix in the waffle maker.” SSSSSS went the waffles. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 BEEP BEEP! They were done.  So I took them out and brought them to my Mom and Dad. They were so thankful. Later, Dash and I came down to the kitchen. We had some ourselves. Uh, oh. Dash started going crazy because of all the sugar. My Mom and Dad came rushing down like wolves on a goose chase! Dash was still going. (He didn't care.)

My Imaginary Friend

It was a Wednesday night and I was doing my homework when my mom called me to eat.  I didn’t want to eat because it was my least favorite food to eat then-pizza. I liked pizza but thinking of eating it made me feel like I was going to throw up. But I went downstairs slowly and sat down at the brown chestnut table in the dining room and my mom gave me one piece of cheese pizza from Papa Johns. “Eat that and I’ll give you more,” my mom said. Just then the doorbell rang and I went to answer it. Standing there was an aqua blue creature that seemed really fat because he looked as he was at least 900 pounds. He seemed really nice because he had a great big smile showing all his teeth. He wore blue jeans (that had yogurt on them) and a yellow- stained t- shirt. “My name is Plop,” he said to me.

 ”Um hi,” I said.

Plop walked inside and my mother asked “who was it?”

“An aqua blue creature named Plop that is really fat,” I called back.

Then, my mom told me to stop being ridiculous. Plop went through the doorway to the dining room.  When he got there he spotted a piece of pizza on my plate. With his big blue eyes he dove in. In seconds he was done. I asked my mom for another piece and again Plop devoured it in seconds. I got an idea and asked my mom to give me some more. Soon, all the pieces were done and my mom walked through the doorway to the dining room and told me how surprised she was that I ate all of those pieces. I kept on nodding and finally my mom went back in the kitchen. I turned to Plop, he waved and I waved back. We both knew he had to go home so I turned and started walking to my room. After my third step I looked back and the aqua blue creature named Plop was gone.

The Adventures of Soapy Dopy

One day I went to go take a wonderful, long, hot shower. I turned on the water and let it warm up a bit. When I got in, I put a little shampoo on my hands. Then, I noticed a tiny rain drop blue man zooming up my arm. He had a mini surf board in his arm. He yelled out “Make sure you wash your hair!”

All of the sudden he jumped on his mini dew drop blue surf board and began to fly. He then said “Hi, my name is Soapy Dopy! I can make anything clean!” “Prove it!” I said back. Soapy Dopy threw a little soap sud at my hand and all the sudden it was shimmering like a star!

When I got out of the shower he threw another little soap sud at my bed. At first it looked like an earthquake had just hit, but now it looked like heaven!

Then Soapy Dopy and I threw little soap suds all over the house. “We did a good job!” said the 3 inch bald guy. When we were done it looked and smelled like a beautiful garden. When my mom got home, she was so thrilled se gave me five dollars! From then on Soapy Dopy and I were best friends.

Strawberry and me

One Tuesday afternoon, I was walking in the woods with a bag of strawberries. I laid out my picnic blanket. Then I turned around to get my strawberries, but they were gone! I glanced beside me and I saw a ghost! She wore a neon yellow shirt with a strawberry on it, and had my strawberries in her hand. She was a small, little homeless ghost. So I took her home.

I called her Strawberry. When we got home, we ate some sugary strawberries as a snack. When we were done we sat on the couch. Then we saw an air pump. That gave me an idea. I stuck the air pump into a red berry. We blew up a lot of strawberries until the wall looked like the color of Strawberry’s raspberry red hair. “BOOM!” went a big strawberry. I did not think my parents would be very mad about all the messes we made.

Then Strawberry saw some colored paints .We decided to draw pictures of ourselves. To make our pictures bigger, we decided to paint our pictures on the floor. Strawberry heard my parents come home, so she used her ghost powers to run through the walls as fast as she could. When my parents walked in the door, they blamed all the messes on me. I told her Strawberry and I were both responsible for this. So she yelled, “FINE, THAN YOU AND STRAWBERRY ARE BOTH GROUNDED FOR 2 WEEKS!’’ Strawberry heard my mom scream. She got really sad. I walked in to her room. I told her that my parents were just a little upset, and that she didn’t mean to yell. So we ate some more strawberries, drew pictures of ourselves ON paper, Cleaned up our mess, and went downstairs for dinner.
