Writing Lesson of the Month Network

...sharing thoughtful, mentor text-inspired lessons your students will love!

If you were inspired by our October 2016 Lesson of the Month--Word Art--and had a student who created a really great poster to share, we hope you'll consider sharing it here.  You can photograph or scan your student's work (please don't share anything more than your student's first name for Internet safety reasons) and attach it to the reply box below this post.

If you don't see a "reply box" below, you simply need to join this sub-group here at the WLotM.  To do so, scroll up to this page's top and look for the "Join Vocabulary Collectors Group" button.  Click it, and you're in!

Thanks for considering sharing your students' work so that other teachers and students might be inspired.

8th grader--Audrey--created this example for the word TAUT, and I've always loved the details and ideas represented.  She thought about the word in many contexts.

Kendall--7th grade--created this great word art example for the word VIGIL.
