Hi Bill,

Welcome to our Ning.  Glad to have you aboard.  I looked over your webpage and blog, and you do VERY impressive work online.

You posted some links and info to become of our main "Blog."  I kind of reserve the BLOG stuff just for the Lessons of the Month.  However...

We do have a FORUM, where you can post links and pose questions to the other group members.  Here is how you post there: http://writinglesson.ning.com/forum/topic/new

I am pasting your original Blog post below so you don't have to write it over.

Dear colleagues,

I am new to our group and wanted to share a free writing resource I've created that will be helpful to encouraging your students to write and tell stories.  Please visit MakeBeliefsComix.com where you can create your own comic strips online; the site offers 100 characters with different emotions to choose from, blank talk and thought balloons to fill in with text, story prompts and printables with writer prompts.   It's now used by educators in more than 180 countries to teach English and encourage literacy.

The comic created, which can be printed and emailed, also provide a first step to longer writing.  Hope you'll give it a try.

Sincerely,

Bill Zimmerman
