...sharing thoughtful, mentor text-inspired lessons your students will love!

Why WritingFix should be saved! Reason #1...

Don't forget about WritingFix's "Writing Prompts for [K-6] for Kids:" http://writingfix.com/traits_primary.htm#forkids  We designed these 14 interactive word games for K-6th graders.  My personal favorite is the "Wacky Word Game;" go play it and see what I mean.  Next time you have the computer lab, have all your students bring a pencil and paper and write down their favorite prompts they create for themselves while pressing all the buttons.  Save those lists somewhere safe, and have students write one of their stories down when you're back in class or on the computer!  I consider these fourteen games a "Gold Mine" of stories just waiting to be written.

We have a "Save WritingFix until 2020" pledge drive going on right now: https://life.indiegogo.com/fundraisers/save-writingfix-until-2020/x...  WritingFix costs a little over $1000 a year to keep on-line, and Dena and I have paid that bill for the last three years; we're hoping you'll help us out by making a donation, no matter how small.  At the very least, we hope to raise enough to pay for one more year.  Thanks in advance for--at least--for visiting our Pledge Drive page and reading about why we are asking for user help for the first time ever since WritingFix started over 15 years ago.
